Dennis Steenwyk

Dennis Steenwyk is an experienced language development professional currently serving as the Bam Coordinator at SIL International. With a passion for connecting people through language, Dennis has dedicated much of his career to developing language resources and strengthening language communities. At SIL International, he coordinates efforts to support the Bam language community in West Africa. Dennis has expertise in language development, community building, and project management. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Linguistics from Calvin College and a Master's degree in Applied Linguistics from the University of North Dakota. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, camping, and traveling.
