Dennis Nderitu

Dennis Waweru Nderitu is a professional in the energy sector, currently serving as the Manager for Energy Systems at the Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet (GEAPP) based in Nairobi County, Kenya.123 Before his role at GEAPP, he was the Technical Lead at Energy 4 Impact, where he provided transaction advisory support to over 125 off-grid developers and companies across Africa, focusing on solar, hydro, and biomass-based technologies.1 His previous experience includes managing Commercial & Industrial solar projects at Davis & Shirtliff and leading the installation of minigrid and grid-connected solar projects in East Africa with PowerGen Renewable Energy.1

Nderitu holds a degree in electrical and electronics engineering from the Technical University of Kenya. He has also pursued courses in environmental impact assessment and global energy and climate policy at the Catholic University for Eastern Africa and SOAS University of London, respectively.1
