Deniz Tuncalp

Deniz Tuncalp is an accomplished and well-educated entrepreneur and professor of Management with extensive experience in information technology, innovation, marketing and operations, and the telecommunications industry. With an impressive list of degrees from prominent Turkish and international institutions, including Middle East Technical University and Sabanci University, Deniz has held a variety of roles in his professional career, including CEO, board member, country manager, consultant and instructor.

Deniz has held a variety of roles at Istanbul Technical University, serving as an Associate Professor of Management, CEO of the ITU ARI Teknokent, Advisor to the Rector for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, and Chief Marketing & Operations Officer, among others. His experience in the professional world includes Senior Manager and Information Security Senior Expert/Revenue Assurance & Information Security at Turkcell, Consultant/Contractor at Deloitte Touche, Business Development Executive at Gartner, and Co-Founder of InfoSecure Information Security, among other positions.

In addition to his entrepreneurial expertise, Deniz is also a prolific scholar, having published numerous papers and articles on topics related to innovation, entrepreneurship, information technology, marketing, and operations. He has also served as a visiting associate professor at Politecnico di Milano and Carnegie Mellon University.
