    Deniz Basusta is an NYU Economics graduate with a Bachelor's degree, having studied Economics with a Minor in Business Studies. Despite entering a challenging job market during the pandemic, Deniz showcased resilience by joining his family's upscale restaurant full-time post-graduation. Here, he pivoted the traditional business model to adapt to the changing times, overseeing various aspects from day-to-day operations to legal and financial matters, including navigating challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic.

    Apart from his restaurant management experience, Deniz has a background in finance, having previously served as a Summer Financial Analyst at BNY Mellon. His diverse skill set also includes roles such as President of the Restaurateur Club at NYU, Business Development and Accounting Intern at Wickford Wine Company, Intern at Fit A.I, and Marketing Externship at Young & Rubicam.

    Driven by a desire for continuous growth and exploration, Deniz is now actively seeking new opportunities that allow him to leverage his academic background in Economics and Business. While he aims to channel his passion for the field, Deniz is keen to incorporate his unique insights from the hospitality industry into future endeavors.
