Dena Jenson is an experienced philanthropic executive with a diverse background in leadership roles, strategic partnerships, and organizational development. She holds a Master's degree in Public Policy from the University of Southern California and a BA in Political Science from California State University, Long Beach.
Dena has an impressive professional journey, having served in various capacities in esteemed organizations. She is currently the Director of the Center for Nonprofit Leadership at California Lutheran University. Previously, she held the position of Interim Executive Director at the Alliance for the Arts.
In addition to her current and past leadership roles, Dena has contributed significantly as an independent organizational and leadership development consultant, providing strategic counsel to nonprofit organizations and philanthropic leaders. She also served as the Vice-President and Director of the Center for Nonprofit Leadership at the Ventura County Community Foundation.

She has also held positions at the Perinatal Advisory Council, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, and various roles within the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services.
