Debra McGrew

Debra McGrew is an environmental engineer with over 30 years of experience specializing in the design of water and wastewater infrastructure.

She is a licensed civil engineer in three states (AZ, CA, NV) and has an extensive background in environmental projects such as landfills, hazardous waste, and groundwater contamination.

Debra's passion lies in the water and wastewater industry where she thrives on the challenge of transforming concepts into final constructed facilities within shorter timeframes.

With a BS from the Illinois Institute of Technology, Debra has honed her expertise in pumping facilities, pipelines, condition assessments, and odor control systems and evaluations.

Currently serving as a Senior Project Manager in the Water-Wastewater Group at Wood Environment & Infrastructure Solutions, Debra has held key positions in various reputable organizations including Amec Foster Wheeler, McBride Engineering Solutions, and Brown and Caldwell.

Her career journey includes roles as a Supervisory Engineer at Brown and Caldwell, Senior Project Manager at DSWA, and Project Manager at Greeley and Hansen, among others.

Debra's love for engineering stemmed from childhood, allowing her to channel her creativity into problem-solving and engaging in challenging projects that continue to fuel her passion for the field.
