Xiaowei Guan

Xiaowei Guan is a proficient civil engineering master's student at Columbia University, with a keen interest in the water industry and real estate.

During her time at the Xinjiang Institute of Architectural Design and Research, Xiaowei honed her skills in municipal engineering design, particularly focusing on water treatment plants and wastewater treatment plants using AutoCAD.

She actively participated in the Sponge City Project and successfully secured a national patent for her projects.

In addition to her passion for the water industry, Xiaowei has ventured into real estate, gaining valuable experience through an internship at a real estate company, where she was involved in project drawing checks and on-site inspections.

Her educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Water Science and Engineering from South China University of Technology, where she excelled with a GPA of 3.66/4.0, and she is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Civil Engineering with a focus on environmental engineering and water resources at Columbia University in the City of New York.

Xiaowei has also gained professional experience as a management trainee at China Overseas Property Group, an internship trainee at Kaisa Group, a lecturer at Shanghai Ji Yi Network Technology Co., Ltd, and an intern designer at Xinjiang Institute of Architectural Design and Research.
