Her research project specializes in plasma edge physics, specifically aiming to enhance the understanding of fusion plasma at the edge of the ASDEX Upgrade tokamak by utilizing Machine Learning for interpreting observed data.

    Deborah's ultimate goal is to leverage her knowledge and skills to propel advancements in clean, dependable, and safe energy sources. With a strong educational background, including a Master of Science in Nuclear Physics from Università degli Studi di Padova, Université de Caen Normandie, and Universidad de Sevilla, along with a Bachelor of Science in Physics with First Class Honors from the University of Ibadan, she has honed her expertise for making substantial contributions in the field.

    Throughout her journey, Deborah has gained experience as an Erasmus Mundus Scholar, and has interned at prestigious organizations like GRAND ACCELERATEUR NATIONAL D'IONS LOURDS (GANIL), Dowell Schlumberger Nigeria Limited, and Novel Power Systems, further enriching her understanding and practical skills in the realm of nuclear physics and clean energy research.
