Deborah Marshall is an accomplished lawyer with a vast and impressive educational background. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Columbia University before moving on to Northeastern University, where she earned her Doctor of Jurisprudence in Law. She later continued her studies at New York University, where she received her Master's of Laws.

Earlier in her career, Marshall worked as an associate at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati.
