Debbie Sasson
Debbie Sasson is an award-winning teacher with over 10 years of experience working with middle and high school students. She is passionate about Jewish education, Israel studies, and history, making her an expert in these fields. Debbie studied Bachelor of Arts - BA, International Studies, and Middle Eastern Studies at Emory University, Master of Education - MEd, Secondary Education at Manhattanville College, and Near and Middle Eastern Studies at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. She was named PBS teacher innovator of the year in 2013, and her dedication to Jewish education has led her to work with various organizations such as Center for Israel Education, Ramah Darom, Israeli-American Council (IAC), Hub Central ATL, The Epstein School, and Horace Greeley High School. During summers, Debbie works at Camp Ramah Darom where she trains staff, works with campers, and enjoys nature in the North Georgia mountains.
