Chief Innovation Officer, University of Maryland
Dean Chang is the Chief Innovation Officer at the University of Maryland (UMD), a position he has held since February 2022. - Before joining UMD, he spent 15 years in Silicon Valley, where he served as Chief Technology Officer and Vice President of Gaming Business at Immersion Corporation. There, he played a pivotal role in transforming the company into a leading licensor of haptic technology, which is now embedded in numerous devices worldwide.12
