Sheroda Novis is a highly accomplished Senior Commercial Lawyer, based in South Africa, with extensive experience in contract law, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and financial matters. She is the founder of Novis Legal and has a distinguished track record in high-profile finance transactions and M&A activities in South Africa, Australia, UK, UAE, and EU. Sheroda completed her education at some of the most prestigious universities in the world, including Harvard University, where she studied negotiation, and the University of Cape Town, where she earned an MBA in Business Administration, an LLM in Commercial Law, and an LLB in Law.

Before starting her own law firm, Sheroda held several high-level roles, including serving as the Group Head of Legal at COAST2COAST CAPITAL (PTY) LTD and the Head of Legal at Retail Africa. She began her legal career as an Associate at the law firm Alan Allschwang and Associates Inc, followed by a position as Corporate and Commercial Associate at the law firm Edward Nathan Sonnenbergs Inc.
