Tony M. Lopez is an experienced government executive who has dedicated his career to creating innovative solutions for public challenges and promoting community development. With a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) and a Master's Degree in Parks and Recreation Management from Florida International University, Lopez has served in several leadership positions in professional associations, non-profits, and universities. He currently serves as the Deputy Town Manager at the Town of Miami Lakes, responsible for overseeing the implementation of all Town operational policies, including community development projects in parks, beautification, infrastructure, and mobility. Lopez is also an adjunct lecturer at Florida International University, where he shares his expertise in Recreation and Sports Management. With extensive experience in Parks and Recreation Management, Tony M. Lopez has received several industry awards, including the NRPA Young Professional Fellowship, FRPA Young Professional Award, and American Park and Recreation Society's Meritorious Service Young Professional Award.
