Jason Altmire is the Chief Executive Officer of Career Education Colleges and Universities (CECU), a national association representing private, postsecondary career colleges and universities with over 1,100 campuses and affiliate members across North America.1
Prior to his current role, Altmire had an extensive career in government, healthcare, and education:

Altmire holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Florida State University, a Master's degree in Health Administration from The George Washington University, and a Doctorate degree in Business Administration from the University of Florida - Warrington College of Business.1
He frequently engages with students, having delivered keynote addresses for the 2024 Master's of Public Health graduates at Florida State University23 and visited the University of Central Florida to engage with students.4 Altmire also serves as co-chair of the Advisory Board of the Center for Effective Lawmaking, a joint project of the University of Virginia and Vanderbilt University.5
