Daniel B. Fisher

Daniel B. Fisher is the Vice President of Government Affairs at Associated Equipment Distributors (AED). He oversees the association's Washington, D.C. office, managing advocacy, political programs, and Canadian public policy efforts.

Before his current role, Fisher served as a Senior Managing Associate at Obadal, Filler, MacLeod & Klein (OFMK), representing trade associations and corporate clients, such as AED, on public policy matters with Congress and the administration.

Fisher started his career on Capitol Hill as a Senate Judiciary Committee counsel for Sen. Arlen Specter. He was involved in managing Supreme Court confirmations, leading investigations, and handling legislative portfolios on various legal issues.

Fisher holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Public Policy Studies, magna cum laude, from St. Mary's College of Maryland, where he was captain of the varsity baseball team. He also earned a law degree from George Mason University's Antonin Scalia Law School and is a member of the District of Columbia Bar Association.
