David Wagner

David Wagner is a professional with a strong background in sports league and competition management, contracts, sports insurance, athlete health and medical policy, franchise law, event management, athlete development, and athlete immigration matters.

He holds a Juris Doctor in Law from Syracuse University College of Law, a Masters in Media Management from Syracuse University, a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from SUNY Geneseo, and studied Business at the University of Central Lancashire.

David has held various key positions in prominent sports organizations, including his current role as Player Matters & Administration Lead at the NBA G League, as well as past roles at the United Soccer League (USL) such as Vice President of Competition & Operations, Executive Director of Competition & Operations, Pro Leagues Operations Director, Legal Counsel, and Media Relations Manager.
