David Teten is a versatile entrepreneur, CEO, and venture capitalist with a wealth of experience advising institutional investors and working with early-stage venture capital funds. Teten has advised top organizations such as Goldman Sachs Special Situations Group, LLR Partners, Birch Hill Equity, and Icahn Enterprises. He is the founder and CEO of Versatile Venture Capital, a new VC platform that provides minimally dilutive growth capital through traditional VC or revenue-share/venture debt hybrid models. Teten has a passion for entrepreneurship and investing and shares his insights on his website. He is a member of the American College of Corporate Directors and has a strong background in fintech, with two exits as a founder.

Teten is a graduate of both Harvard Business School, where he earned his MBA in Business, and Yale University, where he studied Economics and Psychology. In addition, he attended the Branson School. Before starting versatile Venture Capital, he worked as a venture partner at HOF Capital and as a partner at ff Venture Capital. He was the first outside partner to join these two New York-based early-stage VC funds, where he grew both the AUM and LP base 10x during his tenure. Teten is a former member of Innovators for Democracy and has been active in the Harvard Business School Alumni Angels of Greater New York. Additionally, he has founded and led many businesses, including Teten Recruiting, GoldNames, and Nitron Circle of Experts.
