David Morar

David Sullivan is currently the Data and Privacy Policy Manager at Meta. He has a strong background in digital trust and safety, having previously served as the founding Executive Director of the Digital Trust & Safety Partnership. In this role, he focused on promoting a safer and more trustworthy internet by bringing together diverse stakeholders to address global challenges related to rights, security, and democracy in the digital age.

Before his tenure at the Digital Trust & Safety Partnership, Sullivan was the Program Director at the Global Network Initiative, where he worked on protecting and advancing freedom of expression and privacy rights online. He has also held positions that involved research and policy analysis on issues related to mass atrocity prevention and has worked with international NGOs on election and humanitarian assistance projects.

Sullivan is recognized for his expertise in technology, security, and human rights, contributing to various initiatives and advisory boards, including the World Economic Forum Global Coalition for Digital Safety. He holds a B.A. from Amherst College and an M.A. from the Johns Hopkins University Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies.123
