National Manager, Development, Marketing & Major Gifts

• Oversaw the development of approximately 1,100 local non-profit recreational organizations to support the growth of tennis in the United States.
• Oversaw visits of First Lady Michelle Obama to the 2011 and 2013 US Open which included a Let’s Move! tennis clinic with professional tennis players: Serena Williams, Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic, Billie Jean King, John McEnroe, James Blake, and Katrina Adams. This resulted in coverage by more than 800 publications including Washington Post, USA Today, Newsday and Sports Illustrated.  The appearance resulted in more than 700 million media impressions with a publicity value exceeding $19 million. 
• In 2010, responsible for developing and executing partnership strategy for USTA’s collaboration with Mrs. Michelle Obama’s Let’s Move! Childhood obesity campaign.
• Designed, pitched and managed event to USTA Senior Management and White House for 2010 Let’s Move! tennis event on White House South Lawn featuring President Obama and professional tennis players Sam Querrey, Bob and Mike Bryan.
• In response to White House’s Joining Forces campaign, developed strategy and managed USTA’s effort to support more than 150,000 military families with recreational training, equipment and facilities in 2011.
• Oversee $1.3 million annual budget to support community tennis development programs (grassroots nonprofit organizations, schools, college/universities) across the country.
• Since 2009, serve as Chair of USTA Community Tennis Development Workshop, an annual workshop of nearly 1,000 grassroots community leaders with recreational programming.
• In 2005, developed USTA’s national strategic grassroots plan for advocacy.
• Developed A Guide to Community Tennis Associations which serves as national training and marketing manual for non-profit tennis organizations

National Manager, Community Tennis & Strategic Partnerships

• Supervised 6 person staff responsible for planning, budgeting, coordination, and execution of former President Clinton’s short and long term calendar.
• Managed 250+ person advance domestic and international advance staff in support of former President Clinton’s events.
• Served as principal advisor to former President Clinton on all matters pertaining to his schedule.
• Oversaw process and strategy for  President Clinton’s for-profit and non-profit speech proposals.
• Traveled with former President Clinton domestically and abroad in support of Clinton Foundation policy initiatives.
• Managed event planning and coordination for former President Clinton’s domestic and international travel.
• Served as Clinton Center Leadership Director and managed intern and volunteer recruitment and selection process.

• Coordinated advance teams for trips of the Vice President and responsible for logistics of all advance staff travel, budget, and logistics
