Brian Kimmes

Brian Kimmes is a highly experienced and well-rounded professional, having worked in a variety of industries and capacities throughout his career. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from South Dakota State University and has held numerous roles in the public and private sectors.

Kimmes has worked in politics, serving as a Regional Field Director for the Minnesota Democratic Farmer Labor Party, a Voter Education Coordinator for FairVote Minnesota, and a Communications Specialist for the Minnesota Senate. He has also worked in professional sports, serving as a Public Affairs Associate and Senior Associate for the Minnesota Timberwolves and Lynx, as well as a Facilities Project Manager for the organization.

In addition to his political and sports experience, Kimmes has worked in marketing and public relations, holding positions as an Account Associate for LS2group and a Public Affairs Specialist for the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Currently, Kimmes serves as the Development Manager for The Family Partnership, a nonprofit organization that supports children and families in Minnesota. He also previously served as a Board Member (Secretary) for 180 Degrees: Turning Lives Around, a nonprofit that provides supportive housing for those transitioning out of the criminal justice system.
