David Simpson

David Simpson is an experienced and creative executive with a passion for the non-profit and renewable energy sectors. He holds a BA in French Literature/History from Williams College, a JD in law from Golden Gate University School of Law, a diploma from Hotchkiss, and an MA in Political Science/Philosophy from the University of Oxford. With an excellent interpersonal and communication skillset, he has successfully raised philanthropic funding and private investment capital. Mr. Simpson is well-known for his collaborative leadership style and a commitment to mentoring and building inclusive workplaces.

Mr. Simpson has held several key positions throughout his career. He is the Director of A Home Within - CASA Therapy Project, having formerly served as Executive Director and Co-Founder. He was also the Non-Profit Strategic & Fundraising Consultant at CASA of Contra Costa County and Co-Founder & President at PointAcross. Mr. Simpson's entrepreneurial spirit led him to co-found MicroGrid Networks LLC, where he served as a co-founder, Founder, and Executive Director at California Internet Service Providers Association. Additionally, he is the Co-Founder & Director of Environmental Futures, Inc. Mr. Simpson began his career as an Investigative Reporter at The New Orleans Times-Picayune States-Item.
