David Schmaier

David Schmaier is the President & Chief Product Officer at Salesforce, leading the global product team, strategy, and vision at the world's top CRM company. He also manages Salesforce Ventures and Corporate Development at the organization. With previous experience as the CEO of Salesforce Industries, he has a strong background in cloud and enterprise software companies. Prior to joining Salesforce, David was the CEO & Founder of Vlocity, which was acquired by Salesforce in 2020. He has also held executive positions at C3.ai and Siebel Systems, demonstrating over three decades of expertise in building successful technology companies. David holds an M.B.A. in General Management and Entrepreneurship from Harvard Business School and a BS in Mechanical Engineering with a Minor in Economics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
