David Scanlon is an accomplished Venture Investment Leader and Educator with a passion for transforming ideas into globally scalable businesses. He has an impressive educational background, holding an M.Sc in Management of Information Systems from Trinity College Dublin and a B.Sc in Computer Applications from Dublin City University.

Currently, David serves as the Venture Investment Lead at NDRC, where he sources, engages, guides, and enables teams to build successful ventures. David was also the Dublin Chapter Director and Co-Director at Startup Grind, an international community that nurtures startup ecosystems. Furthermore, he is a former Partner at Lucey and a Project Executive at Enterprise Ireland.

David's extensive experience includes Social Media Adviser, IT Specialist, and Internet Marketing Adviser roles at Enterprise Ireland. David is the Co-Founder of Malahide OpenCoffee Club, Co-Organiser of BizCamp, and has the skills to educate, connect and inspire Dublin's entrepreneurial ecosystem.
