David Wall

David Wall is a highly accomplished graphic designer and design leader based in Dublin, Ireland. With a background in design and a focus on branding and identity, David has led design teams working on both international and local brands at McCann Dublin. He graduated with first-class honours from the National College of Art & Design, Dublin and Lahti University of Applied Sciences, Finland in 2002. David co-founded an independent studio called WorkGroup in 2006, where he worked for 13 years before closing the business in 2019 to pursue new challenges. During his time at WorkGroup, David and his team were featured in national and international publications including the New York Times, Wallpaper*, and Monocle. Their work was recognised by leading awards bodies, initiatives and collections, and a selection of their projects were added to the permanent collections of the Art Institute of Chicago and the National Library of Ireland.

In addition to his work in design, David has also lectured, taught and adjudicated students in graphic design courses in Ireland and the UK. He takes an active role in the design community in Ireland, co-founding the 100 Archive, a national archive of graphic design in Ireland and serving as a board member of the Institute of Designers in Ireland.
