David Rush

David Rush is the President of ENV's New York office, a position he has held since December 2009.12 He is an architect with over 25 years of experience in the field.4 David obtained his BSArch in Architecture from the University of Michigan (1982-1986) and his MARCH in Architecture from Yale University (1986-1989).1

In addition to his role at ENV, David has been serving as Vice Chairman of the Town of Southeast, NY Planning Board since February 2004.12 At ENV, which is one of New York's most respected firms of architecture and commercial interior design, David has worked with notable clients such as HarperCollins, Year Up, Smartling, Comcast, Phillips Van Heusen, the Durst Organization, and the Corcoran Group.34

David is known for his ability to uncover the cultural DNA of each project and guide both clients and his team through the design process.3 He emphasizes collaboration and strives to inspire others in his work.4 Outside of his professional life, David is married to Carina and has two sons, Jakob and Gabriel.4
