Niroop Kasthuri Srivatsa

Niroop Srivatsa is an accomplished city manager and urban planner with a background in architecture. He studied Graduate courses in Architecture and Urban Design at Washington University in St. Louis and obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from Anna University. He has served in various leadership positions, including President of the Planning & Community Development Dept. at the League of California Cities and Chief City Planner at the City of Naperville, Illinois.

Srivatsa's expertise in planning and community development has been recognized by various organizations, including the League of California Cities, where he currently serves on the Environmental Quality Policy Committee. Additionally, he has been a Commissioner (alternate) at the California Statewide Communities Development Authority (CSCDA), and he has previously held various roles at the City of Lafayette in California, including Community Development Director, Planning Director, Planning & Building Services Director, and interim City Manager.

Srivatsa's professional background and experience have allowed him to become a specialist in urban planning and design, community development, policy analysis, and management. He has a keen interest in environmental sustainability, affordable housing, and promoting livable and walkable communities.
