David Mount
David Mount is a Partner at G2 Venture Partners, specializing in investments at the convergence of advanced digital technologies and traditional industry, with a keen interest in the 'Industrial Awakening.'
Currently serving on the boards of Seegrid, an autonomous robotics company, and Kespry, a prominent provider of perception-based analytics for mining and other industrial sectors.
Apart from his role at G2, David is an Adjunct Professor at Stanford Earth, where he co-teaches a course on 'New Frontiers and Opportunities in Sustainability' to a diverse group of undergraduate and graduate students annually.
Previously, David was a Partner at the Green Growth Fund at Kleiner Perkins, actively involved with notable companies such as OSIsoft, ServiceMax, Choose Energy, UpWind Solutions, Opower, and Silver Spring Networks.
He also co-founded and led Element Analytics, an industrial analytics software developer.
David initiated his investing career in 2003 at Bain Capital, focusing on petrochemical, oil, gas, and consumer portfolios.
