David H. McCormick is a distinguished individual known for his roles as a business leader, combat veteran, and public servant. He notably served as the Chief Executive Officer of Bridgewater Associates, a prominent investment management firm, and ran for a U.S. Senate seat in Pennsylvania in 2022. Prior to his tenure at Bridgewater, David held key positions including the U.S. Treasury Under Secretary for International Affairs and various senior roles in the National Security Council and the Department of Commerce. With a background in the military, David was a CEO and President of two publicly traded software companies from 1999 to 2005. He is a graduate of the United States Military Academy, a former Army officer who served in the First Gulf War, and holds a Ph.D. from Princeton’s School of Public and International Affairs. Additionally, he has contributed to the Defense Policy Board and is set to release a book titled 'Superpower in Peril: A Battle Plan to Renew America' in March 2023.
