    Emily Eagen McMahan is a well-respected figure in the world of investing and startups, with a passion for connecting people and technologies for societal good. She currently serves as the Co-Founder and General Partner of Academy Investor Network (AIN) Ventures, a seed-stage venture fund that focuses on dual-use and deep technology, as well as military-veteran-led startups. AIN Ventures also runs the Academy Investor Network, an investment syndicate for graduates of the five U.S. military service academies, supporting the next generation of startups addressing critical challenges facing the country.

    Prior to her venture into investing, Emily was involved in several impactful organizations. One highlight was her role as the founder of Capitol Post, a veteran-focused startup incubator in Washington DC that assisted numerous startups in navigating the capital's unique business landscape. Her experiences at a technology firm serving the federal government helped shape the success of Capitol Post.

    Emily holds an MBA from the University of Virginia's Darden School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Geopolitics & Systems Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point. Her early career was marked by service as a U.S. Army military police officer, where she supported various operations post-9/11. Emily is also a dedicated mother of three, constantly inspired by her children's energy and vitality.
