David Malone

David Malone is a certified RESNET Home Energy Rating System (HERS) rater with expertise in Residential, Multi-Family, and Commercial energy audits, including City of Austin ECAD audits. He is skilled in HVAC upgrades, attic insulation & radiant barriers, duct sealing, solar window screens, and weatherization & air infiltration.

David Malone holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and has also studied at Baylor University. He is continuously improving his knowledge and skills in energy efficiency and sustainable practices.

He currently serves as the owner of 1st Choice Energy, where he leverages his experience and qualifications to provide top-notch energy auditing services and solutions for residential, multi-family, and commercial properties.
