David Kuhwan Kim is a seasoned professional with a rich background in the energy and technology sectors. He is the President & Founder of Crocus Energy, a company utilizing machine learning algorithms to optimize electricity consumption in large manufacturing facilities. David has also served as the CEO & Founder of Korea LNG Solution, GRIDWIZ, and held executive roles at ILJIN Electric and WIZnet Technology.

David's expertise spans various areas including Demand Response, Energy Storage Operation, EV/EVSE charging solutions, DER Integration, and more. He has successfully managed a Demand Response aggregator with 400 customers and a 10GW demand load. Additionally, his experience includes overseeing 857MW of battery operation and 350MW in the installation pipeline. David is well-versed in ISO/IEC 15118, OCPP, CharIN, Plug-and-Charge, DIN standards, as well as DER protocols like IEEE2030.5 (SEP2) and OpenADR2.0. He has also delved into Energy Blockchain Implementation and Energy Big Data Analysis.

With a solid educational foundation in Computer Engineering from Busan National University, David Kim combines academic knowledge with practical experience.
