David Heifitz

David Heifitz is a specialist in renewable energy and sustainability with a background in advising investors on cleantech opportunities and assisting utilities in energy transition strategies.

He is particularly experienced in providing guidance to renewable energy and cleantech companies in their strategic and operational decision-making processes.

Having acquired a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Harvard Business School, a Master of Science (MS) in Sustainability Management from Columbia University, and a Bachelor's degree in Business/Managerial Economics and Psychology from the University of California, Davis, David possesses a diverse educational foundation.

He also participated in a Summer Abroad Program focusing on Finance at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).

David's professional journey includes roles as an Engagement Manager and Expert Consultant in the Electric Power & Natural Gas Practice at McKinsey & Company, where he honed his expertise in the energy sector.

Prior to this, he held positions such as Financial Analyst Intern at Con Edison Clean Energy Businesses, Climate Policy Intern at the NYC Office of the Mayor, and Summer Scholar at Deloitte, gaining valuable industry insights along the way.

His experience also extends to roles at Intel Corporation as a Financial Analyst Intern and Strategic Finance Intern, indicating his versatility across different corporate environments.

Furthermore, David served as a Research Assistant at the UC Davis Center for Neuroscience and held the position of Chairman of the Business and Finance Commission at ASUCD, showcasing his commitment to both academic and leadership pursuits.
