David Greenfeld

David Greenfeld is an entrepreneur and investor based in the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area, best known as the founder and CEO of Dream Pops, a plant-based frozen confectionery company. He launched Dream Pops in 2016, aiming to create a nostalgic and visually appealing alternative to traditional ice cream treats, which are often laden with dairy and artificial ingredients. His products are characterized by their unique geometric shapes and clean ingredient lists, and they are now available in various retailers, including Whole Foods and Erewhon.123

In addition to his role at Dream Pops, Greenfeld is actively involved in several investment ventures. He serves as an investor and strategic advisor for multiple startups, including Mezcla, The Plug Drink, Positive Food Co., and Twice, among others. His investment focus is primarily on consumer packaged goods (CPG) and brands that promote healthy and innovative food options.14

Greenfeld's educational background includes a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley, where he also attended the Haas School of Business.1 His career began in investment banking, where he worked at Houlihan Lokey, specializing in mergers and acquisitions before transitioning to entrepreneurship and investment in the consumer goods sector.12
