David del Ser

David del Ser is an accomplished entrepreneur and engineer who has turned his focus towards venture and innovation consulting. His decade of experience in data technologies has led him to be a leader in the development of AI applications. As a partner at BFA, David manages the Impact Ventures team to drive innovation and provide unmatched consulting services. Additionally, his role as Director of the Catalyst Fund has allowed him to work firsthand with fintech CEOs on computer vision algorithms, sales targeting, and credit assessment models. David's education is extensive, including degrees in Telecommunications, Physics, Computer Vision, and an MBA from Columbia Business School.

David is a former Chair and Chief Innovation Officer at BFA and has held Program Director roles with the FinnSalud and Catalyst Fund programs. He founded Frogtek, a pioneering social venture that uses smartphones and data to empower Mexican shopkeepers, and Microlumbia. David is a former Young Global Leader at the World Economic Forum and previously worked as an R&D Engineer at Vodafone and as a Software Engineer at redcart.
