David Cusimano

David Cusimano is a Managing Director at Accel-KKR, a private equity firm that specializes in investments in mid-market technology companies. He first joined the firm in the summer of 2008 while attending Harvard Business School, and returned full-time upon graduating in 2009. Before his tenure at Accel-KKR, Cusimano worked as a Private Equity Associate at GenSpring Family Office, where he was involved in sourcing and executing minority equity investments and subordinated debt financings for small and middle-market companies across various industries. He also held a position as an Analyst at Wachovia Securities, focusing on merger and acquisition advisory services for clients in the technology sector.124

In his current role, Cusimano serves on the boards of several companies, including Cendyn, ESO, Ocuco, and PropLogix. His previous directorships include notable companies such as Cielo, Delta Data, and N-able Technologies, among others, with several of these firms having been sold or merged during his involvement.123

Cusimano holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.S. in Banking and Finance, summa cum laude, from the University of Alabama, where he was recognized as the top graduating senior in his program.15
