David C. Collins is the Founder and Managing Director of Catalyst IR, a firm he established in 2012 after leaving Jaffoni & Collins, which he co-founded in 1994. With over 25 years of experience in capital markets, investor relations (IR), and corporate communications, Collins has a strong background in developing and executing impactful IR programs. Notably, he advised Marvel Entertainment on its IR strategy for a decade, guiding the company through its emergence from bankruptcy to its acquisition by Disney.
Before founding Catalyst, Collins held significant roles at various firms, including as a Vice President at Dewe Rogerson and as a Director at Kehoe, White Savage & Company. He also worked as a Marketing Associate at Ladenburg Thalmann & Co. His expertise is complemented by his active participation in the investor relations community; he serves on the Board of the NIRI New York Chapter and is part of the Board of Advisors for Fordham University’s Masters in Investor Relations program.
Collins holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in American Government from Georgetown University and is recognized for his contributions to the field through writing and speaking engagements on IR topics.
