David Charbonneau

David Charbonneau is a professional with a diverse background in industrial engineering, technology, and innovation management.

Having obtained a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering with a focus on Technology and Innovation Management from École Polytechnique de Montréal, David also furthered his studies by completing an Exchange Program in Applied Economics at Technische Universität München.

His educational journey includes a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Université de Sherbrooke and another Exchange Program in Industrial and System Engineering at the University of Arizona.

David Charbonneau's professional experience spans across various prestigious organizations, holding roles such as Associate Principal - Industrial, Cleantech, and Energy Venture Fund at BDC.

In addition to his current position funding deeptech innovation at Boreal Ventures, David has a history of board memberships and advisory roles in companies like Fluent.ai Inc., Relogix, Upchain, and CCGP.

His past roles include significant positions such as Senior Consultant in Management Consulting & Strategy at KPMG Canada, Advisor in Supply Chain and Logistics at Bombardier Aerospace, Project Manager at The Kraft Heinz Company, and Production Supervisor at Waterville Toyoda Gosei.

Apart from his professional endeavors, David Charbonneau is known as a fan of the Montreal Canadiens, enjoys playing the guitar, and is an avid listener of NPR.
