Charles Poiré

Charles Poiré is a seasoned professional with a diverse academic background and extensive experience in the fields of venture capital, industrial sectors, and management consulting.

He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in international projects and finance from Université de Montréal. He graduated with honors and also studied at the Canadian Private Capital Investment School - Venture Capital at Ivey Business School at Western University.

In addition to his engineering background, Charles pursued studies in Pure and Applied Science at Collège Lionel-Groulx and completed his high school education at Collège Saint-Sacrement.

Over the course of his career, Charles has held key positions at renowned organizations, including being an Investment Director in Venture Capital at Desjardins. He has also served as a Board Observer at Fluent.ai, Thentia, ThinkData Works, Upchain (exited to Autodesk), and Relogix.

Previously, Charles was associated with BDC as an Associate in the Industrial, Cleantech and Energy (ICE) Venture Fund. He also gained valuable experience in management consulting and strategy as a Manager, Senior Consultant, and Consultant at KPMG Canada.

His professional journey includes internships at BONE Structure working on supply chain strategy and at Bombardier Aerospace in project management roles.
