David Burt

David Burt is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of ServiceTitan, a prominent cloud-based software platform designed to serve trade businesses. He joined the company in November 2018, bringing extensive experience in finance and technology. Prior to ServiceTitan, Burt held significant roles at Netflix, where he was Vice President of Content Planning & Analysis and co-head of Corporate Development. During his tenure at Netflix, he played a crucial role in the company's transition from DVD rentals to a global streaming powerhouse, overseeing substantial investments in original content and corporate strategy.12

Burt's educational background includes an MBA from Harvard University and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Technology, Sydney. Before his time at Netflix, he worked as an investment banker at J.P. Morgan Securities and as a strategy consultant at Bain & Company.23

Under Burt's leadership, ServiceTitan has achieved remarkable growth, securing over $1 billion in funding and reaching a valuation of $9.5 billion. He has been instrumental in the company's expansion efforts and has actively participated in its acquisitions.12 Additionally, Burt is involved in ServiceTitan's Employee Resource Groups, supporting initiatives for diversity and inclusion within the company.1

As of September 2022, Burt stepped down from his role as CFO, which raised questions about the company's plans for an initial public offering (IPO).3
