David Bullen

David Bullen is the Secretary General of The APA & ARM Association (APARMA), a position he has held since May 2022.2 APARMA represents common interests of Approved Publication Arrangements (APAs) and Approved Reporting Mechanisms (ARMs) regarding regulations and laws impacting their businesses in the EU and UK.1

In his role as Secretary General, Bullen is responsible for:

1. Managing APARMA's affairs1
2. Representing the views and interests of APARMA members3
3. Facilitating dialogue with regulatory policymakers1
4. Supporting the adoption of best practices to improve industry data quality1
5. Assisting authorities and regulators with advice on implementing laws and rules1

Prior to his current position, Bullen has held other roles in the financial industry:

• Director at Lorgwood Limited2
• Secretary General at Electronic Debt Markets Association (EDMA)2

APARMA's membership includes affiliates of major financial institutions such as Bloomberg, Cboe Europe, London Stock Exchange, MarketAxess, Nasdaq Nordic, and Tradeweb Markets.1 The association focuses on developing and supporting best practices to improve industry data quality and assists authorities with implementing regulations related to data reporting.1

Bullen's expertise in financial markets and regulatory affairs makes him well-suited to lead APARMA in its mission to represent the interests of APAs and ARMs in the evolving regulatory landscape of the EU and UK financial markets.
