David Brearley

David Brearley is a seasoned professional with a strong background in the renewable energy industry, currently serving as a technical services project manager at Mayfield Renewables.

With extensive experience in project management and technical editing, David has made significant contributions to various organizations, including SolarPro magazine, Brandt Power & Energy, and Meridian Solar.

His journey in solar energy began in 2002 at the San Juan College Renewable Energy Program, where he studied PV System Design & Installation.

David holds a Project Management Certificate from the University of Texas at Austin and is known for his commitment to the industry, evident through his NABCEP certification as a PV Installation Professional and volunteer work with the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners.

Currently, David serves on the board of Solar Austin and the Texas Solar Energy Society, showcasing his dedication to advancing solar energy initiatives.
