Diagnosed with Poland Syndrome, a congenital condition affecting the development of his right forearm, David began crafting prosthetic arms at the age of 9 using LEGO Technic bricks.
His innovative work has led to the creation of the MK-I, 2, 3, 4, and 5 prostheses, enabling him to inspire millions worldwide and advocate for inclusivity and innovation.
David's prosthetic inventions have been featured in global media outlets, such as National Geographic, New York Times, Washington Post, and Euronews, among others.
He has spoken at prestigious events like NASA's Cross Industry Innovation Summit and the Let's Go Festival in Brazil, showcasing his dedication to improving lives through technology.

As an 'AFOL-Adult Fan Of Lego', David is the face of the #RebuildTheWorld campaign by LEGO, furthering his mission of creating prosthetic solutions using his favorite childhood toy.
He holds degrees in 3D Printing, Design, and Applied Arts from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, as well as Bioengineering from Universitat Internacional de Catalunya.
