Dave Mareels is an Australian-Belgian-Croatian individual with a diverse background and a keen interest in Managed Security Services, Cyber SaaS B2B, startups, and angel investing. He is also passionate about BBQ, basketball, coffee, and wine. Dave holds a Masters of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Melbourne, where he also completed a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Additionally, he studied Mechanical Engineering and Spanish Language Studies at Universidade de Vigo. Dave has a strong professional history, having held significant roles like Senior Director of Product Management and Director of Product Management at Sophos, as well as being the CEO & Co-founder of SOC.OS, which was acquired by Sophos.
