Dario Grassini

Dario Grassini is the Co-CEO and Founder of SAPRO Consulting, a global firm established in 2017 that focuses on addressing social, economic, and environmental challenges within the public accounting sector. Alongside his business partner Greg Maslov, Grassini has built SAPRO to provide enriching professional opportunities for young auditors while helping accounting firms manage their seasonal workforce needs. The company operates across multiple regions, including the US, Europe, Australia, and South Africa, and is known for its commitment to integrity, transparency, and community involvement.23

Grassini has a robust background as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with extensive experience in talent acquisition, training, and management. He has been involved in running secondment programs for major firms since 2011 and is recognized for his entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to fostering authentic connections in his work.14 His educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance from Coastal Carolina University and further specialization in Accounting on the Chartered Accountant track at the University of Cape Town.1

In addition to his role at SAPRO, Grassini has held various positions throughout his career, including Managing Director at Grassini Ventures and Auditor-in-Charge at Deloitte. He has also volunteered with initiatives like The Ocean Cleanup, reflecting his commitment to environmental issues.13
