Danny Saunders is a highly experienced sustainability professional with over ten years of experience in the sector.
He currently holds the position of Senior Project Manager for Energy & Environmental Sustainability at the Mid North Coast Local Health District under NSW Health, where he successfully oversaw the installation of the largest rooftop solar photovoltaic system in the Southern Hemisphere on a healthcare facility.
Throughout his career, Danny has managed numerous substantial energy efficiency and renewable energy programs, such as the Low Income Energy Efficiency Program at Power and Water Corporation, the Solar Programs in the Northern Territory, and the Solar Suburbs Program in Melbourne.
In addition to his sustainability work, Danny is a proficient Classical musician with a background in music performance, having studied at prestigious institutions like the Graz Conservatorium of Music and Dramatic Arts in Austria and the London Royal College of Music.
Presently, he contributes his musical talents as a flutist and piccolo player with a distinguished wind quintet in the Mid North Coast region of NSW. Danny's educational background includes a Master's degree in Environmental Management from RMIT University and a Bachelor of Music in Music Performance from the University of Melbourne.
