    Daniel Oldfield is a Microscopist and science communicator with a diverse educational background. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Applied Sciences, a Bachelor's Degree in Science (Honours), and a Double Bachelor of Science in Nanotechnology, all from RMIT University. With a specialization in Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM), Daniel currently serves as a TEM Specialist at ANSTO. Previously, he has held various roles including Physics Tutor at Trinity College, Physics Laboratory Demonstrator at RMIT University, and Microscopist at RMIT University. His experience also extends to office administration, having worked as a Temporary Office Assistant at the Australian Primary Health Care Nurses Association (APNA). In addition, Daniel has gained valuable work experience at CSIRO and held positions such as Duty Manager, Life Guard, and Swim Instructor at Belgravia Leisure.
