Daniel Cohen

Daniel Cohen, a prominent figure in the sports, media, and technology industry, has been named one of Sports Business Journal's 40 Under 40 and Fast Company's Most Innovative Companies in Sports. Currently serving as the head of Octagon's Global Media Rights Consulting business, Daniel leads a practice that advises leagues, teams, broadcasters, digital media platforms, telco and tech companies, as well as VCs, Private Equity, and financial institutions regarding valuation, strategy, and negotiations.

With a Bachelor of Arts degree from The George Washington University, Daniel has held various executive positions in the sports industry, including Managing Partner, SVP Americas at MP & Silva and Senior Vice President, Business Development & Sales Bloomberg Sports Professional at Bloomberg Sports. He has also served as an Analyst at Bloomberg and was part of the Washington Nationals and Washington Baseball Club Ownership Group at Portfolio Logic.

Daniel's expertise in building businesses at the cross sections of sports, media, and technology has made him a go-to speaker and guest lecturer in conferences and universities such as Columbia University and NYU. He is also an active board member of several organizations, including NYVC Sports, All-Star Committee of Harlem RBI, and USHMM Next Generation.
