Dan Lips

Head of Policy at Foundation for American Innovation

Dan Lips is the Head of Policy at the Foundation for American Innovation (FAI), where he oversees the policy research team. He has held this position since October 2019. In addition to his role at FAI, Lips is also a Visiting Fellow at the Foundation for Research on Equal Opportunity and has previously served as Vice President for National Security and Government Oversight at the Lincoln Network.

Lips has a strong background in policy and government affairs, having worked as the Policy Director for the U.S. Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee and held various roles in the federal government, including as an Intelligence Analyst at the FBI. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Politics from Princeton University and a Master's degree in Statecraft and National Security Affairs from the Institute of World Politics.1 3 4
