Dan Eng

Dan Eng, a Chartered Professional Engineer, possesses a wealth of experience in developing and executing renewable energy projects in Africa and Australasia, totaling over 1500MW. He has been actively involved in all project stages, from deal origination to Operations and Maintenance, showcasing his stakeholder management and relationship skills. Daniel has a track record of winning engineering awards and holding leadership positions within the industry.

Beyond project development, Dan has shared his expertise at International and National Engineering conferences and contributed technical publications across four continents. He has also been involved in academic circles, serving as an external examiner for Civil Engineer dissertations and guest lecturing at prominent universities in Africa. His involvement extends to executive committees in both National and International Geotechnical Engineering associations.

Dan's educational background includes an Executive Master of Management in Energy from BI Norwegian Business School, a Masters (MSc) in Civil Engineering, and a BSc in Civil Engineering from the University of Cape Town. He also completed his IEB at St Andrew's College in Grahamstown.

In his professional journey, Dan has held significant roles such as Engineering Manager - Global (Civil Engineering) at Scatec ASA, Energy Business Developer and various engineering positions at Enel Green Power, as well as roles at SRK Consulting and Aurecon.
