Damien Sonny

Damien Sonny is a highly skilled energy engineering professional with a strong background in the electricity industry, specializing in the strategy, planning, and development of renewable energy resources.

He holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Papua New Guinea University of Technology and a Master's degree in Energy from The University of Auckland.

Damien currently serves as the Principal Consultant and Renewable Energy Engineer at Sustainable Energy Infrastructure Solutions (SENIS). Prior to this, he has held various roles at PNG Power Ltd, including Manager - Sustainable Development, Renewable Energy and Carbon Specialist, Renewable Energy Planning Engineer, and Graduate Mechanical Engineer. Additionally, he has also worked as a Temporary Full-time Lecturer at The University of Papua New Guinea.
